Orders & Shipping

Pre-Order Policy

Cancellation Period: You may cancel your preorder within 10 days of placing it for a full refund.


Production Timeline: Each preorder includes an estimated ship date (e.g., “ships by end of September 2025”). Timelines are estimates and may vary slightly due to production schedules.


Delays: If production is delayed beyond the stated timeframe, you will be notified and given the option to continue waiting or receive a full refund.


After 10 Days: Once production has begun, cancellations are not permitted unless there is a delay beyond the stated timeframe.


Communication: We’ll keep you updated on production and notify you promptly of any unexpected changes.

I understand that in life, things happen — sometimes unexpected, sometimes difficult. If you ever run into a financial situation where you need to cancel a preorder outside of the stated policy, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll always do my best to figure out a solution with you. Your moral support and patience mean more to me than anything.


We understand that pre-orders can take time. If at any point you decide you don’t want to wait anymore, no problem at all. We’ll gladly issue a refund.


Our priority is simple: to spread the joy of well-made garments and thoughtful design.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand by our products and will ensure customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) for store credit ONLY and it will be issued via GIFT CARD. There will be no cash refunds.


To return an item, the following conditions must be met:


Returns

All return & exchange requests must be made within 10 business days of delivery. Returned items must be unworn, with original tags and packaging. Approved returns will be issued as store credit via gift card.


Exchanges

Exchanges are processed as store credit, which you can use to purchase a new item of your choice.

International

At this time, we do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders but if you have issues with your order, please contact hello@yitai.la for additional information. 


Note:

- Initial shipping costs are not refundable. Store credit for the store will be given for the retail price of item(s) purchased.

- Discounted items or items labeled as "FINAL SALE" cannot be returned or exchanged.

- Your return must be sent back within 72 hours from when the label is created or we will not process your return.

Where do we Ship?

We ship internationally — worldwide.


We work with two trusted logistics partners: one based in Hong Kong and one in the United States. Orders are fulfilled from the origin that makes the most sense for your location.


Our goal is always to ship in a way that minimizes tariffs and customs friction.

There are no additional duties or taxes on delivery — what you pay at checkout is the final price.

- We acknowledge that customs and duty fees are considered a governmental matter.

- We cannot declare the value of a package as anything other than its retail value. We cannot mark shipments as gifts.

Shipping methods vary by destination.


Free Shipping on Orders Over $200


We primarily ship using trusted local postal and courier services in each region to ensure faster delivery and reliable handoff once your order reaches your country.


We always choose the shipping option that makes the most sense for your location, with the goal of getting your order to you as smoothly as possible.

Please note that once your order is shipped from our facility, we are unable to expedite, change the shipping address, or redirect the package. Please make sure to double check your delivery address and if any shipping issues arise, please contact the courier company directly.

Our Products

Where is our stuff made?

Currently, we manufacture the majority of our products in China. To select our overseas partners, we emphasize quality, compliance to worker's safety, fair wages and benefits, and efforts to be more sustainable. We've visited all of our partners and we have built strong personal relationships with each factory partner.


We work with multiple fulfillment centers and ship orders from the location that allows for the fastest delivery and reduced tariffs whenever possible.

sustainability

I don’t believe fashion is truly sustainable. At the end of the day, new products are still being created. The most sustainable way to shop is, and has always been, buying vintage, thrifting, or choosing secondhand.


That said, I believe in creating with intention. I don’t design to chase trends or mass-produce clothing. Every piece I release is made to order — which helps eliminate overproduction and minimize waste. Your garment is made specifically for you — not sitting in a warehouse, not produced in bulk, and not discarded if unsold.


Whenever possible, I choose natural fibers like 100% cotton. In some cases, I may use synthetic blends — not to cut corners, but to enhance durability, reduce pilling, and ensure the piece holds up over time. Because in my view, longevity is sustainability.


My goal is simple: to make pieces that last — designed with care, intention, and attention to detail. These aren’t throwaway clothes. They’re made to be worn, kept, and collected — like art. I believe the most sustainable garments are the ones that stay in your life — cherished, worn, and passed on.

How should i wash and care for my products?

We recommend you wash on cold and hang dry or use a low heat setting in the dryer. This will help maintain the shape of the garment, while reducing the energy use.
